How To Get Involved

Wondering how you can help support and/or be involved with Hope for Cats, Inc?

As a totally volunteer-run, nonprofit organization committed to helping our feline friends, we greatly appreciate any contribution, great or small, to our cause. There are numerous ways interested individuals can get involved, as follows:

Volunteer

Volunteers are the heart of Hope for Cats, Inc. Jake's Place needs volunteers who are ready, willing, and able to feed and/or clean just 2-3 hours one day, every week. Volunteers are also needed to transport cats to adoption shows or vet appointments, set up and conduct adoption shows at local pet stores, and assist with HFC fundraising activities. Call or email HFC if you are interested in becoming a volunteer. You may also complete and submit the Volunteer Application on this Web site.

Donate

We gratefully accept monetary and/or in-kind donations, both of which are tax-deductible. Checks should be made payable to Hope for Cats, Inc. or you can donate online via Paypal, using the link below (coming soon). For in-kind donations please contact us by phone or email to arrange drop-off. Please see our Wish List featured on this Website.

Sponsor

Through the Hope for Cats, Inc. Guardian Angel program you can sponsor one of the cats at Jake's Place on a yearly basis. For $10.00 per month, you will receive a picture and quarterly letters from your sponsored cat, and have the satisfaction of knowing you have helped us provide for all the cats in our care. Another option is to sponsor one of our cats with special medical needs, by contributing specifically to his or her veterinary costs. Call or email us to obtain more information about the Guardian Angel program or about one of our "extra-special" cats. Both types of sponsorship are tax deductible.

Memorials

While posting a tribute to a beloved cat on the HFC Memorial page is always free, you can choose to make a donation in their memory, or in memory of a relative or friend who shared your love of our feline friends. This is a wonderful way to remember the special people and animals in our lives, and at the same time help the many homeless and abandoned cats who haven't yet known that joy. Memorial donations are tax deductible.
